It is our desire to come along side and partner with you in the nurturing of your child's faith any time your child is with us. Thank you so much for allowing us to partner with your family in the teaching of your child. We are honored to have that privilege.
We take the safety and security of all of our children very seriously at Emmanuel. All of our workers (paid and volunteer) undergo background checks before they are allowed to work with our kids. We also have a computerized check-in system and a parent notification system in place.
Sunday mornings - 8:45, 10:00, and 11:15
During all three community group hours, we are offering unique sessions designed just for our kids. Built into a single large group setting, kids also work at tables with teachers for that small group contact and personal attention that all kids need. To accommodate parents who wish to have their children attend during their community group session AND worship time, each time slot features different lessons and activities. KID CONNECT meets in the Chapel. Led by volunteers who serve on a rotating schedule, the kids participate in a time of music, a lesson that incorporates a Bible story, skits, videos, puppets and object lessons. We also take an offering that is used for a mission project.During their small group time, children study God's Word as well as apply it to their lives through creative teaching, crafts, music and hands on projects. KID CONNECT is for kids who are 4 years old (before September 1, 2015) through 5th grade.
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
During the school year, we have a special Wednesday evening program for our kids using the “Awana” curriculum. Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and s designed to teach scriptures and truths to become a part of each individual life. Kids are divided by age groups for learning activities and lessons. A special outreach on Wednesday evening is our bus ministry. Many kids not normally associated with any church come and spend the evening with us allowing us to share about God’s love with them.
Sunday evenings from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.
Throughout the academic year, we offer a choir program (under the umbrella of our music ministry) especially for our kids 3 year olds (before September 1, 2014) through 5th grade. We have a great time each week and culminate each semester with a special program the first Sunday evening in December for the fall and the first Sunday evening in May in the spring.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - June 13-16, 2016

The theme this year is "Submerged." We will be "finding truth below the surface" as we explore Psalm 139:23-24
KIDS KAMP - July 11-15

Each summer we provide a variety of fun outings/events for our kids.
KID'S DAY OUT
Wednesdays and/or Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Kids Day Out is a Christ-centered program for children ages 6-weeks-Pre-K and meets throughout the academic school year. We provide a quality experience for your child in a nurturing environment designed to bring out the best in each child. Kids Day Out is a two day-a-week program and is open on Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Children are placed in the appropriate class using the September 1 date. A self-sustaining program, tuition payments cover the personnel costs in running this program.
Summer Schedule: We continue with our KDO curriculum and programming during the summer months adding classes for elementary school age children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. We close the week of the 4th of July.
At Emmanuel we believe that we are called to receive, nurture and treasure each child as a sacred gift from God. In proclaiming that sacredness, we carry a commitment to love, shelter, protect and defend all children in our care. We want to share God's love with our preschoolers by ministering to their needs in a caring and nurturing environment. We have a wonderful staff in the nursery and great volunteers who will treasure every child.
Although technically a Women’s Ministry outreach, we’ve placed the information here so moms checking on the nursery won’t miss out on this wonderful support program just for them. MOPS meets throughout the school year beginning in September on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. With programs, crafts, and GREAT childcare, it gives our moms with young children a chance to find support from mentors and each other as they discover they are not alone! MOPS membership is $30/year.
Moms have found community through Emmanuel MOPS for almost 20 years -- we're your mothering authority. MOPS holds and share the collective wisdom of mothers an experts -- usually one and the same!
